Due to COVID-19, this year's annual fundraiser will be a virtual event.
New in 2021, The Taos Milagro Rotary Club presents, Mountainfilm on Tour, a completely virtual film festival!
Over the course of four days, November 11-14, local Rotarians and our presenting sponsors, will offer the Taos community a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring films curated by the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado.
This new and exciting (COVID safe) event is mission critical as it raises funds for our community service and youth programs, including college and vocational scholarships and our popular literacy, book distribution, and reading programs.
Over the course of three days, the local Rotarians will offer the community the opportunity to screen a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films, from the comfort of their home, curated by the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado.
Each year our youth programs reach nearly 1500 students in Taos County, including local stars like Abdul who depends on our scholarship program to help pay for his tuition at Columbia University in New York City.
In the past, sponsorships and community support of our annual “Chile Challenge” have generated the majority of funds needed to support these programs. And like other years, our goal is to raise $30,000 to support these efforts that so many local students have come to rely on.
Please support our impactful youth programs by joining the community for this new COVID-safe and exciting virtual event.
Tickets for the virtual film festival are $15. If you intend to watch the films with friends or family, consider making an additional donation at checkout. Tickets are on sale now here!
