International Student Exchange

For the 2019-2020 school year, Taos Milagro Rotary is hosting a young lady from Spain.  She is a Junior at Taos High School. With the help of many Taos families, we have hosted students from Denmark, Venezuela, Taiwan, Brazil, Belgium, and other countries.

Taos County students, typically between the ages of 15 and 18, can apply to spend a year living and studying in another country. They learn a new way of living, a great deal about themselves, and maybe even a new language. They are ambassadors, teaching people they meet about their country, culture, and ideas. They help bring the world closer – and make some good friends in the process. All of this at virtually no cost to the student! Our club has sent students to Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, and other countries.
